What it takes to succeed:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three plus years of related experiences and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude skills.
- Experience in construction or electrical field helpful.
- Possess basic math in terms of measuring (where to mount a TV, cut into a table, etc. )
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in a project kickoff to ensure that everything begins in a timely and organized manner.
- Provide support for technicians assigned to the project, and mentor them as they perform their duties.
- Provide installation of systems as required- this may be in the form of leading a crew, or by physical installation of the system by the FE.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and commissioning of systems.
- Program audio DSP processors as required and provide advanced setup and adjustment of the processors.
- Upload control code to systems for onsite testing and commissioning.
- Perform onsite changes to control code as needed while on the phone with the programmer or manufacturer.
- Provide guidance to technicians in situations of difficult mounting or structural obstacles.
- Provide communication to the customer, other co-workers and manufacturers as required for project updates, troubleshooting, commissioning, and training.
- Oversee the work of all onsite personnel on job sites to ensure that the system is installed correctly, and that standard company and industry installation practices are followed.
- Assist the Account Manager, Engineer and Programmer as required with site evaluations, testing and troubleshooting.
